Silver Sand PackSeatage is a one day excursion package to any One of the Island Kadmath, Kavaratti, Minicoy or Kalapeni. Ship departs from Kochi/Mangalore/Beypore and morning ship reaches Island and departs evening from Island, next day morning returns to Kochi/Mangalore/Beypore. One full day will be spent with a range of water sports like, snorkeling, kayaking, viewing under water marine life through glass bottomed boats etc.
Departure port will be subject to the schedule published below from mainland, Guest need to report at the departure port by 10 AM, Check in process will take 30 Mnts after boarding with in 2 Hrs ship will get sail to Lakshadweep, if the boarding before 12 Noon Lunch will be provided in the ship itself.
Guest can visit the Bridge (wheel House) after taking permission from the welfare officer and Dinner will be served in the seat by the representative of Lakshadweep tourism (SPORTS) between 7 Pm to 8 Pm
After breakfast will make embarkation process to Island by specially arranged boat by Lakshadweep Tourism (SPORTS) this transfer will take 20 Mts to reach the Island from ship, after welcome drink at the resort will provide water game for the guest and Lunch will be provided in the beach from 1 PM to 2 Pm.After a short relax in the beach will make sightseeing of the Island after evening tea by 6 PM will transfer the guest to Departure Jetty for the return boarding to the ship.
Ship will get enter to the main land about 9 AM and the ship breath at the port by 10 Am, breakfast will be served at the ship and guest can get down to the land, Guest can proceed to their destination after collecting their baggage.
Package include:
- Semi Sleeper accommodation in AC Hall.
- All 3 time meals [breakfast Lunch and Dinner] morning and evening tea or coffee.
- Bus transfer to the ship from the boarding point at Cochin only.
- Welcome drink at the island.
- Island sightseeing
- Water sports Kayaking Snorkeling and glass boat 1 time.
- Entry permit and heritage fee.
- All the Government taxes.
Booking / Cancellation Policy .
Tour will be booked, subject to availability of seats, and upon receipt of 100% of the total package charges despoiled in the above bank account.
Being an online booking platform, we do not have any control on the available seats. If seats availability gets exhausted after your payment but before our completing the booking procedure the full amount will be refunded – No questions asked.
The total package tariff (subject to revision, without notice) shall include transportation from Cochin by Cruise, embarkation / disembarkation charges, port charges, food, accommodation, sightseeing, wherever applicable.
Ship Schedules are subject to change / being cancelled without any prior notice, due to unknown reasons or reasons beyond our control. There could be delays in vessel departure / arrival timings and passengers are requested to make adequate alternative arrangements at their own risk and cost and the company will not be responsible for any direct/ indirect loss to passengers due to delay / re scheduling / cancellation of a voyage.
- 20% will be deducted from the package charges if cancelled within 30 days prior to the date of departure.
- 40% will be deducted, from the package charges, if cancelled within 8 to 29 days from the date of scheduled departure
- 100% will be deducted if cancelled within 7 days of scheduled departure.
For all services, no show fee is 100%
In case of cancellation / amendment, any extra charge levied by the vessel operator will be levied on the customer.
100% refund will be made if the voyage is cancelled due to adverse weather/ technical issues.
In the case of cruise packages, if the voyage is cancelled due to any reason beyond our control, inclement weather, breakdown of cruise etc. our liability will be limited to refund of cruise package cost collected. We will not be responsible for any other loss / damage / expenses, directly or indirectly incurred by our guests.
ANY SUCH CLAIMS WILL BE DECLINED OUTRIGHTLY
Some Guidelines
- The reporting time is 09.30 am. at Lakshadweep office, Willingdon Island, Cochin. The scheduled departure time is 02.00 pm, however the exact time of departure may vary.
- Please note the ships cannot dock at the islands. The facility to dock the ship is not available on the island. The passengers will be transferred to boats, which will take you to the island. It is recommended that ladies avoid saris for easier movement.
- The person planning to take the trip should be in sound health.
- Avoid usage of plastic on the islands.
- Please carry sunscreen lotion, umbrellas, caps, etc. as it may be very hot.
- Carry a first-aid kit as per your family’s requirements
- Do not litter the land or the water.
- Do not pick up corals as souvenirs. It is a punishable offense.
- Do not carry narcotics or drugs. It is prohibited.
- Do not use alcoholic drink, intoxicants while on the islands and on the ship.
- Swim or sunbathe un-clothed is strictly prohibited.
- Do not go out of your island lagoon without permission of the SPORTS authorities and without a proper escort it can be risky.
- Do not pluck tender coconuts yourself. The trees are privately owned and unauthorized plucking of coconuts is a theft
- For the Weekend, Lakshadweep Samudram and Coral Reef packages – as you will be spending the full day on the island you can carry some extra clothes for wash and change as the facility to wash and change are available on the island.
All Passengers to hold a valid identity card (Voters ID / Passport / Driving License)
Avoid booking return journey on the day of arrival back at Cochin. Ships arrival timing is subject to weather, current port clearance.
